How much does rooftop solar cost for a home?
A typical home system costs about ₹55,000–₹65,000 per kW before subsidy. After the PM Surya Ghar subsidy (up to ₹78,000), most homes pay back the cost in roughly 3–5 years and then enjoy largely free power for 25+ years. Try our free Savings Calculator for your numbers.
What government subsidy can I get?
Under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, you get ₹30,000/kW for the first 2 kW + ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW — up to ₹78,000. We handle the entire subsidy application and paperwork for you.
Is my roof suitable for solar?
Most homes are. You generally need around 100 sq ft of shadow-free roof per kW. During our free site visit we check your roof area, direction, shadows and usage, then recommend the right size.
Can I pay in EMIs?
Yes — we offer easy EMI & financing options so you can go solar with little upfront cost. In many cases your EMI is close to or lower than your current bill, so you save from day one.
How long does installation take?
After subsidy and net-metering approval, the physical installation usually takes just 2–4 days for a typical home rooftop.
What about maintenance and the monsoon?
Solar needs very little maintenance — occasional cleaning is enough. Panels still generate on cloudy/monsoon days (at lower output), and net-metering lets you bank surplus summer power against monsoon months.
